A 7-day interdisciplinary winter school where we design scenarios to regenerate Kortrijk-Noord industry park and its resourceful environment. Participate in ongoing research on circular design principles. Co-envision circular transition scenarios aimed at regenerating Kortrijk-Noord’s industrial built environment as well as its resource landscape. Meticulously working with existing material and immaterial resources, is the winter school’s circular thinking approach. It is all about avoiding new construction and raw resource extraction, while regenerating ecologies. The winter school commits to reparative and regenerative approaches, and focuses on the art of repairing, reusing, and repurposing resources contained in the landscape, infrastructure, buildings and their components.
